MN-6: Anti-Wetterling robocalls reported

Mon Nov 06, 2006 at 05:45:23 PM PDT

The Patty Wetterling campaign just sent an email out this evening asking voters to remain vigilant for robocalls in Minnesota's 6th District. From the campaign:

"ALERT: REPORT SUSPICIOUS CALLS TO 763-323-1803

Dear Friends,

We are continuing to receive reports of suspicious robo-calls,
falsely claiming to be from the Wetterling campaign.

If you receive one of these calls or notice other suspicious
activity, we ask you to call the Wetterling campaign headquarters
at 763-323-1803.

This is a very serious matter and your assistance is greatly
appreciated.

Thank you.

With regards,

Corey Day
Wetterling Campaign Manager"

A dKos user and friend of mine -- notapipe -- reports that his Sixth District grandmother has been receiving robocalls. Follow the jump:

CA-22: Foley gave Rep. Thomas award for "public service"

Fri Oct 06, 2006 at 02:43:36 AM PDT

You may have heard that moderate Republicans are a dying breed. If so, then you heard wrong. Because they're not dying -- they're going to prison.

The latest in the Mark Foley kid sex scandal involves a couple of other Republican congressman. This time, not that they were covering up for Foley's behavior, but that Foley was presenting them with an award for "distinguished public service". You got that right -- Mark Foley as the standard-bearer of decent governance. Whatever.

And even though they've scrubbed this page of any mention of Mark Foley, clearly ashamed at the predator in their midst and the dishonor he brings, there Foley is, clear as day, awarding Rep. Bill Thomas an award for public service. Thank you, Google Cache!

MN-6: Saint Patty's Powerful New Ad (Video and Transcript)

Mon Sep 18, 2006 at 11:10:13 AM PDT

"An ordinary Minnesotan with extraordinary courage," -- that's part of Patty Wetterling's powerful first television ad released today. Watch Patty Wetterling's ad, "Voice"

The black-and-white ad highlights Wetterling's public service for children and families. A voiceover describes her fight to bring back her abducted son Jacob, taking that fight to protect other families, and making a difference in Minnesota and Washington. It's a positive message that will resonate in the conservative-leaning Minnesota CD-6, and ought to resonate across Minnesota. I grew up in Minnesota and still live here -- let me tell you why we need Patty Wetterling in Congress.

Add Diebold memos to your shared folders

Wed Oct 29, 2003 at 08:31:31 AM PDT

I would like to recommend one thing to anyone who wants to keep Diebold information -- leaked memos, emails and investigative journalism -- free and accessible. Save the documents that Diebold is trying to suppress and add them to your file-sharing folders that you may be using for Kazaa or Morpheus related stuff. That way, anyone can just search for Diebold on the network and the memos will live on forever. Let Diebold memos become like dandelion seeds in the wind.
